A hand-knotted rug is built knot by knot on a loom, with no glue and no backing, so its structure is its wool and its knots, and both age well. That is what the price pays for: a rug made to be used for decades, washed, repaired and handed on. Turn one over before you buy it. How Loomish prices a rug

Bokhara is the house’s own specialism and is held in depth: many pieces to a design and many to a size, so the same drawing can be supplied again for a second room or a whole project. Every other family is held as single pieces, each the only one of itself. The Bokhara and the runners are where depth lives.

Delivery and returns

Delivery within Pakistan is free: dispatched within two to four working days of the order being confirmed, by tracked courier. Abroad, delivery is quoted door to door before anything is committed, and import duty is paid on arrival. If a piece is not right, there are fourteen days from delivery to say so; the returns policy sets out how.

Where to begin

With the room rather than the rug. Measure it, then decide whether the rug should settle the room, as the large rugs do, or lead it, as the bold and graphic pieces do.
